“Perfect place”

“Recently stayed at the Hilton in La Romana and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is beautiful, the location is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite a few minor inconveniences. The hotel has many positive qualities, though there is some room for improvement.”

“Playa Catalina Hotel really surprised me in the best way. It gives you that Punta Cana vibe but in a more local, peaceful area. The beach is just a 5‑minute walk, and having a pool available 24/7 was perfect. The rooms look like little villas — super cute and cozy. What made the stay unforgettable was the staff. I traveled with my elderly dad, and they treated him with so much care. They helped him with his bags, supported him on the stairs, and always checked in on us. Even the security team……

“No one on staff spoke English. The hotel is very dated and unkempt. There were several power outages in the 16 hours we were there.”

Also, our pilots were very pleased with the apartment—-said it was very clean, thus meeting their needs.In addition, your associate checked with them and had the cable connection for the golf cart we rented allowing them to keep it charged.To say the least, we will be contacting you again upon our return to Casa de Campo.Thanks again, Peter”

“The area looked beautiful in photos but it really was not feeling safe. We had an overnight before cruise and mainly just stayed in the room. The beach was lovely but we didn’t feel comfortable eating anywhere near this small hotel no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs to higher floors. No where close to get a coffee in the morning.”

“Very clean and exactly as advertised. Included in the price is someone to come clean in the mornings. Martina was warm and wonderful and made us a fantastic breakfast one day. The rooms are comfortable and very quiet. Location is fantastic - close to restaurants, shops, and across from a decent sized grocery store. The spot to park a golf cart if you decide to rent one is right out front. ”
