"Just returned from a 3 night stay at the resort. The main positives are the amazing location, spectacular beach and the polite and courteous staff. We stayed in the sunset villa - they look dated from outside but are clean and comfortable inside. The bed was huge and pillows were some of the bed I have ever had. The bathrooms are modern and stocked with all the amenities. The complimentary water bottles, daily snack, reef friendly sun screen and insect repellents are a great touch. However, there are a couple of things that let the resort down for me. The food is average, though there are vegetarian options albeit limited. When we arrived, we were told that day trips organised by the resort could be booked up to 4pm the following day. We went early in the afternoon to book one of the island hopping trips for the following day and were told that no boats were available. Sadly we didn’t have the option to do it the following day as we were due to depart that day. So we basically ended up spending our 3 days just on the island and I think that is the main downside.
