"It was the perfect place for our family of five to explore the Groningen area and our family's ancestry. The house was spacious, clean, quiet, and located right on a canal. We rented the boat and took it out on the lake one day. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed grilling and eating outside on one of the many decks surrounded by flowering bushes and plants. We wish we had more time to spend at the house and in the Kropswolde/Groningen area but hope to come back someday!"

"Der Aufenthalt war ganz okay. Die Umgebung und die Lage sind sehr schön. Beim Check-in wurde wenig erklärt und vorwiegend auf einen Barcode verwiesen. Das Haus war spärlich eingerichtet und diverse Sachen (Liegestuhl, Camping Ikea Kleiderschrank!) waren defekt. Außerdem hatten wir eine Ameisenplage im Haus. Es wurde aber von Seiten Verwaltung schnell reagiert. Das Bad und WC waren neu renoviert und super. Der Rest war auch noch renovierungs- bzw. verschönerungsbedürftig. Alles in allem war ich...

"Absolutely loved our stay at The Finnhouse! The wooden decor gave it such a warm, Scandinavian vibe, The private jetty was perfect for our morning coffee while watching the sunrise over Zuidlaardermeer, Highly recommend for families or friends looking for a peaceful retreat!"
