"This is the real Hawaii! The property is located in a relatively remote area about 30 minutes south of Pahoa. Beautiful setting in the middle of a forest not too far from the

"Outside shower was pleasant experience once I got used to idea! Walk to lava

on property was extraordinary experience. Breakfast Food was excellent. Hosts were generous, kind and thoughtful. Lack of central air was disappointing but numerous fans helped a lot and open screened windows let breezes in. Still humid though. Loud Background noise of night critters was not a problem. Actually soothing and comforting after a day of traveling. "

"Everything was great, we loved sitting out on the patio in the early morning drinking coffee and late at night stargazing. It was a short distance to bring the provided

chairs to sit on the cliffs by the ocean. We had everything we needed. Alan was very helpful for check in. Overall, we had a great stay. I would recommend staying here for future visits."
