We love this property. The staff is some of the nicest anywhere we have visited. The rooms are quaint, the grounds are beautiful. We miss the high-quality restaurant that used to be one of the highlights of a stay. Now the food is just average.

Exceptional service in many things, especially the smaller things to make a two day visit more comfortable. My girlfriend loved this place. Also, a stone's throw away from the entrance to Volcano National Park

Great location. Literally five minutes or so from the entrance of Volcano Natl. Park The food there is great I hear but the restaurant was full when we got there. We did enjoy the jacuzzi when we got there. The room was cozy and comfortable with a small fireplace to warm it up. The only piece of advice. The carpet seems a little old. Providing some house slippers seems more hygienic than stepping on the Orange brown carpet which is lord knows how old. I did standing yoga and could still smell the carpet. Eeks. Also, having a small fridge would be great and keeping the water filter and coffee pot and supplies out of the restroom. Not the most sanitary way as these are items for consumption. Otherwise, pleasant stay!

Very tropical location deep in the mountains of the Big Island in Volcano Village. The vibe is one of a laid back small hotel - about 12 rooms. Wonderful grounds, flowers, etc. Dining room available. The covid restrictions were a bit onerous to get into Hawaii - and reduced room housekeeping, social distancing in restaurant so not many allowed at one time, etc. but should be lifting with the vaccine programs.
