“The location was good, bedroom and TV room shown in the were accurate. But, kitchen and bathroom were night mares. The sink in the bath barely worked with only a trickle aan”

“We enjoyed being in the middle of nature, right next to a pond, that is connected to Rodemacher Lake. In the evening and night the frogs were singing their orchestra, and you wake up with birds singing. If you like this, then this is your place. If you don't like bugs, then this might be challenging. The cabin is equipped with all you need. It is a little outdated, but that fits the location.”

“The host was very responsive during booking and upon arrival. I had an issue with A/C and he addressed it quickly. However…..There are a bunch of little things that detract from the experience of the stay:* No chest of drawers. * Scuffed walls and baseboards that need paint * A VERY RUSTY shower curtain (C’monnnnn…!)* Used dry cleaner hangars* Towels that have seen better days* A COMPLETELY FILTHY mattress cover!I think all this can be achieved for /- 500. Do that and you’ll get your 5-Star……

“I really enjoyed my stay. The scenery was awesome and the serenity was priceless. The wildlife gave me everything that want in a vacation. And we named thr retriever PUPPY. He was a great addition to the property because Puppy and I had a great walk up and down the driveway. ”

“This unit was perfect for my stay in Alexandria. I was visiting my Dad in the hospital nearby and this unit had everything I needed. It rained while I was there and that made this unit a bright spot to land each day. The washer/dryer were perfect for the small loads I needed during my stay. “Do not fall for this. It’s a dangerous high crime area. These people would not help me after I told them we felt uncomfortable and unsafe in this home. Furthermore, they started ignoring me after I had tried to explain I needed to try to get a refund. I honestly do not trust vRBO any longer because they allowed this place on their listing. And side note, we never stayed in this house, we found another place to stay. They have 2 pending deposits and I really hope that they fall off because if……

“We loved everything about our stay! Adorable, secluded cabin in the woods. And as much as we loved the cabin the responses from the host about any questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. We will absolutely stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend ”
