The lake is located between Campbell River and Gold River in the wilderness area of Strathcona Provincial Park. The lake is the source of the Campbell River.

“I don't know if the place was cleaned between occupancy. Garbage cans still full and recycling on the floor in the dining area. The counters weren't cleaned crumbs and onion skins all over. Dishes in the drying rack and the dish washer was full of dishes. The main bedroom didn't have bedding but we found it in the dryer. Tried to call the host but no answer. “Lovely little place to unwind. Comfortable and clean where the hosts outfitted the kitchen with everything needed for any meal. The water pressure, which is always an important item for myself, was fabulous with extra towels if needed. Very nice touch! Would highly recommend for those looking for a quiet space to unwind and reconnect. ”
