“Nice and newly renovated property. Not too far from town, but not walking distance. We took taxis and the water taxi a couple times. Only disappointment was our rooms that had children booked in each were not placed on the same floor. I think they could’ve made a greater effort to ensure this since we booked well in advance. Pool side service also lacked enthusiasm but the bar was near enough that this wasn’t a great inconvenience. Would stay there again.”

“It pains me to write this as Elivi has been a long time favourite, but so much just wasn't up to standard this year, especially when you consider the price. Our swim up room was perfect and made our stay but other things fell flat, particularly service in all areas. Reception staff uninterested, breakfast staff nonchalant. “Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. When reported to the restaurant about the limited choice we were told that is all they’ve got - no attempt to address it or improve. In the end we ate……

“We had a really wonderful 4 night stay at this hotel at the end of June. Couldn’t ask for more and the staff were exceptional throughout. Excellent location, lovely room, great breakfast & everywhere was spotless. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening, which is not to be missed. Special thanks to Nico at the bar for looking after us so well. We can’t wait to go back.”

“We visited this hotel 10 years ago and still found it to be the same family run hotel we remembered. An amazing family who work night and day to ensure you have the best time The hotel is elevated from the main road but they run a shuttle bus service into town around 5 times during the day .”

“Beautiful views , a small but very well presented hotel. Rooms immaculately clean, great breakfast, fantastic location. Staff were really helpful sorting out car hire , or beach towels for a visits to a beaches without a 'beach resort'. Lovely pool and deck with views out to sea. Fantastic base to explore the island with Glossa and its restaurants just up the hill above the hotel. We had a really wonderful stay and would stay again if we came back to the island”

“Stayed 2 nights on return trip from Skopelos. First floor room. Beautiful sea view. Well equipped kitchenette with fridge freezer. Double bed in bedroom with ceiling fan and twin beds in living area with air conditioning. Nice large balcony. Beach over road with sunbeds to rent. 15€ for x2 and parasol. Local shops and restaurants less than 10 mins walk. Nice to be far enough from hustle and bustle of Skiathos port but near enough to walk. Owner organised us transport back to airport……

“La struttura non esiste è solo una truffa, su internet Google segna un indirizzo errato e i locali provano a indirizzare a una vecchia allocazione ma inesistente. Ho perso un'intera giornata e serata alla disperata ricerca di un alloggio non presente e chiedendo aiuto alle persone cortesi e gentili del luogo mi hanno potuta infine "sistemare" verso mezzanotte in una camera svegliando una signora presso un alloggio differente da quello prenotato! “Questa struttura molto bella e accogliente ha una vista bellissima sul porto di Skiathos. Per arrivare al porto è necessario un auto o uno scooter, pochi minuti e ci siete. Servizi e pulizie da migliorare. ”

“Beautiful gardens and pool area. Despite being next to the road it was very peaceful. Good selection at Breakfast. There is only one coffee machine which could lead to queues at peak times. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Close to bus stop 23 and for 3 euros you can get to Skiathos town and the airport. Bus can be very busy at peak times. The walks through the forest to numerous beaches are beautiful. A few good restaurants all within walking distance if you don’t have a car or want……

“Stayed two nights june 24-26, we enjoyed this place and would stay again. Its a bit out of the way and a car is required although there are regular bus stops at the front gate. Had a well manicured garden and nice pool. A rocky beach is about a 3 minute walk. The room was clean, had all the amenities we expected and the bed was comfortable. They have two breakfasts, a light continental and a buffet. The continental was enough for us.”

“We stayed at Alkyon Hotel for 3 nights before travelling on to Skopelos and I couldn’t recommend this hotel more! It was so convenient being 5 minutes drive from the airport and on the sea front. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the main strip of restaurants along the front of the port but slightly out of the main town area so was quiet at night. “La permanenza qui è stato diciamo nella media, comoda perché è vicino a skiathos centro però devi avere un mezzo per scendere e salire, a piedi penso sia infattibile. La struttura secondo me è un po’ vecchio stile, per essere un 4 stelle. La doccia era tutta aperta e l’acqua cadeva fuori, per me era scomodo. Il Wi-Fi almeno nella stanza arrivava poco, non ho detto niente perché alla fine usavo il mio Internet. Colazione, il giusto forse mi aspettavo di più. Pulizia, il secondo giorno non sono……
