"This was our (family of four age 9 and 11 kids) first Ryokan experience. It was incredible. We loved the authentic Japanese feel. It was an adventure getting there on a boat and we rented bikes next door for a beautiful all day ride. It’s a great spot to ride from in the middle of the Kaido. If you want a traditional, relaxing stay—book this! We hope to return. (We did 2 rooms with 2 people each because the bedrooms are smallish.)"

"The room light was not as bright as I expect, other aspects were as expected property-wise. The staff was professional and welcoming, they agreed to keep my two luggages before check-in time though they were truly heavy, and also brought them to the reserved room in advance."

"This was my favourite stay in my trip. Greeted at the entrance by a staff member whoofferex me a cokd towel and drink while they checked me in. Room was lovely. I gad difficulty with the room temperature and staff dealt eith ut whike I was at dinner. They took a photo of the remote and labelled it in English for me. The food is the highlight! It is a fixed menu full of drlightes each evening. There was miscommunication about my dietary requirements on the first night and chef made me a different course in the moment. Do rake their advice and get a taxi from station. Wonderful all round."
