“We had a fantastic visit to Brightside Farmstay. The facility was incredibly well maintained, and the highlight was meeting Peter and going on a tour with him to see all of his farm animals. “The view from all widows was spectacular, however there were issues with the kitchen area and bathroom. The main concern was that the drain from the shower was extremely slow so after every use the bathroom floor needed to be mopped up. The problem was exacerbated because the mop heads provided were not functional. One was the wrong size and the other was very dirty and the plastic screws to attach it to the mop were missing.Overall cleanliness in the kitchen was below expectations. The fridge……

“Wow this Tuscan Villa is amazing as well as the one also in Whangamatā. The moment you walk in the door it has a wow factor. Four great bedrooms a kitchen made for a michalen chef with all the cooking facilities you need and a huge fridge/freezer. The sporting activities and games you can play on the beautiful lawn right by the little stream. A lot of bird life especially wood pigeons. A great place to celebrate a bit birthday 70th. Have already recommended to family and friends. ”

“We ate dinner at Waihi Beach, "The Secret Garden", and Breakfast at a Deli, so food is easy to get. The location for "Lazy Daze" is lovely and quiet, clean and lots of room inside, like a full apartment with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Highly recommended.”

“A lovely spot within walking distance of town and the beach. The unit is spacious and although a bit dated it is very comfortable. It is quiet and reasonably private. Great value for money. The hosts are very obliging and great with their communication.”
