“We were hardly there, it was a last minute decision to go to the Beach Hop. This unit was perfect for our short stay. Loved hearing the waves crashing on the beach. The shower was awesome, place was clean. Host was lovely and answered any messages quickly. Met the owner, he was also a lovely person : )”

“We ate dinner at Waihi Beach, "The Secret Garden", and Breakfast at a Deli, so food is easy to get. The location for "Lazy Daze" is lovely and quiet, clean and lots of room inside, like a full apartment with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Highly recommended.”

“A lovely spot within walking distance of town and the beach. The unit is spacious and although a bit dated it is very comfortable. It is quiet and reasonably private. Great value for money. The hosts are very obliging and great with their communication.”

Our boys were thrilled. This is one of the best bnb's that we have been to. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.”

“Perfect for a short stay. Thanks”

“Excellent stay, Thank you Nikkita :-)”

“Great communication with the hosts. Just wish we were able to come in summer. Enjoyed our stay over all and would stay again.”

The main concern was that the drain from the shower was extremely slow so after every use the bathroom floor needed to be mopped up. The problem was exacerbated because the mop heads provided were not functional. One was the wrong size and the other was very dirty and the plastic screws to attach it to the mop were missing.Overall cleanliness in the kitchen was below expectations. The fridge……

“Great place to stay, close to beach and Flat White!”
