Welcome to Rodney Dunes Pier 12 Beach Apartments We are conveniently located seconds to the beach and within walking distance of all of Dewey's activities and dining. Ideal for families with young children and our older guests with no roads to cross and being so close is great for bathroom breaks, lunch, or nap time. This apartment offers three bedrooms with one queen bed in the master bedroom, 2 double beds in the second bedroom, and two extra-long twin beds in the third bedroom. It also has a full kitchen with granite countertops, a dining room, a Florida room with new floor, newly remodeled main bathroom, and a 1/2 bath in the master, and a deck that opens to our huge fenced backyard,

Our TVs are Firestick and Roku. We ask that you please do not download any movies or apps that have a fee unless the fee is charged to your account. If you have Netflix, you may sign into your account to watch. Any charges that get billed to us will need to be reimbursed to us. NO EXCEPTIONS. There is always a notice informing you of any charges.

For your security there are security cameras to monitor the entrances and the parking area.

We do require a signed rental agreement and pet agreement if pets are coming.

4. Our guests love lounging in the sun in our huge tropical sandy beach backyard to the pleasant sound of our backyard fishpond. We have one of the largest fenced backyards in Dewey Beach with three tables, lots of seating, two lounges, gas grills, and a fire pit. Enjoy sitting under the stars at night roasting marshmallows around the fire pit, cooking on the grills, or just playing a game of horseshoes!
5. We have two wonderful outdoor showers, each with a small dressing area
6. We are DOG-FRIENDLY ONLY for approved dogs ($40 pet fee per day/per dog applies)! Please let us know if bringing dogs. Sorry, no cats due to allergies, no birds, reptiles, snakes, monkeys, miniature ponies, pigs, etc. During the season pets are allowed on the beach before 9:30 AM and after 5:30 PM. We are the ONLY beach town in Delaware that allows dogs on the beach in summer. We will provide a copy of our pet rules. Dogs must have a Dewey Beach dog license which may be purchased at town hall at 105 Rodney Ave.
7. Being located just seconds from the beach, it is an easy stroll to the beach with no roads to cross making this perfect for families with older guests or small children for lunchtime, nap time, or bathroom breaks.
8. We have a lifeguard on the beach at the end of our street and you can rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach by the day or week. Disable beach wheelchairs are available free of charge from our lifeguards with prior arrangements.
9. We are conveniently located to all of Dewey Beach for dining and entertainment. Park your car and walk to all of Dewey.
10. Dewey Beach is a wonderful place to come to with your family or friends. While we pride ourselves on being a FAMILY-oriented rental, we welcome responsible singles 25 or older.
11. We are NOT a party house, nor do we do group rentals. We do rent for senior week with notarized parental signatures of each person coming. Only those listed on the agreement may be on-site at any time, no exceptions.

WE ARE A NON-SMOKING BUILDING!!

Rates quoted are for up to six people with an additional charge of $50.00 per night per person for up to two additional.

PLEASE NOTE: This apartment will only sleep eight people. OCCUPANCY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. Sorry, I must post this due to a few reservations that understate how many guests and then just have them show up. Overoccupancy places us at risk of losing our rental license.

No Reservation is confirmed until the OWNER receives confirmation of payment from VRBO. There are no refunds for cancellation and "cancel for any reason trip insurance is recommended because we cannot insure your vacation.

Please don't ask us to discount as we have a policy not to discount in fairness to our return guests and those who reserve early and pay the full rate and associated fees.

Our weeks run from Saturday to Saturday during July and August but are flexible the other months we are open with a three-night minimum. We NEVER rent for just one night and only rent for full weeks during July and August unless we have VERY last-minute availability.

Failure to commence tenancy will result in the loss of any money paid and any balance will be due to the owner.

In the event of power outages, loss of cable, internet, appliances, TV failure, or any offered amenity, there will be no reduction in rent. Repair or replacement will be made ASAP.

Please note we have no control over VRBO fees that VRBO will add to the total.

YOU MUST LET US KNOW IF YOU ARE BRINGING A DOG PRIOR TO COMING!! Showing up with a dog without notice will result in doubling the pet fee.

Check-in time is at 4:00 PM (NO EXCEPTIONS). Our cleaners have this window of time to get our apartments ready for the next guest. Late check-out after 10:30 a.m. will result in the charge of an additional day. This extra time is needed to get everything done to ensure your satisfaction. Arriving early will result in additional charges of $100 per hour/partial hour as it makes our cleaners feel they have to hurry which will result in less than expected results.

Now that Covid-19 is not as severe our beds will now again have our beachy comforter sets, pillows, as well as mattress pads. You will need to bring your own linens and towels. We have uploaded our new rental agreement. Since you are accepting this agreement by reserving it, please read it over carefully. Your safety is our main concern, and every effort is being made to make your stay as comfortable and worry-free as possible. Linens, blankets, etc can be rented if you don't wish to bring them.

WHAT TO BRING: Paper products, trash bags, bath soap, & laundry detergents, bath towels, sheets, washcloths & toiletries, Please bring appropriately sized sheet sets. There is one queen-size bed, two full-size beds, and two extra-long twin beds (only extra-long twin sheets will fit)

CLEANING: We take pride in offering a very clean nonsmoking apartment and appreciate your care to make sure it stays that way. We have cleaners come in after each guest leaves to make sure everything is ready for the next guest. You are expected to perform normal everyday cleaning, take out the trash, and run the dishwasher, and put the clean dishes away. It is the responsibility of the GUESTS to make sure the apartment is left in the same condition as found. Additional cleaning will be charged additional fees if necessary.

WIRELESS INTERNET is provided by Comcast/Xfinity and is free of charge. While this service is provided it is not guaranteed and we are not responsible should it not be available or for any problems that may occur from its use.

Off-street parking is available for 2 vehicles one behind the other in the spot marked A on the building. No more than two vehicles may park in front of the building. No exceptions. Parking permits are required in the season for any additional vehicles and they MUST park on the street. Passes may be obtained at town hall 105 Rodney Ave. Please keep the driveway open as that is where we have to park.

Enjoy having an ocean view from the living room with a queen sleeper sofa, a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need for your cooking needs (except the food) including a small wicker table and chairs and an eat-at breakfast bar, two queen bedrooms, and a bath. This apartment has a keyless entry so no need to keep up with keys.

Seaside Retreat is a 2BR (sleeps six) and has a living room with a queen sleeper sofa, a full kitchen with a rattan dining table, two bedrooms (both queen beds), one bath, and a balcony that overlooks our back picnic area!! This apartment has a keyless entry so no need to keep up with keys.

Please note: our pet fee is per dog per night so if you are bringing more than one dog you need to let us know. Pet fees are due at check-in.
