It was a disappointing experience. The place was newly renovated but it was severely understaffed. Expedia didn’t note in its website that the pool is not operating. Anytime we tried to reach the front desk, it took us 4-5 calls to reach someone. Not enough towels, iron didn’t work, bathroom door didn’t lock, safe batteries were low, we killed a cockroach in the kitchen area by the fridge first night of stay, woke up the second morning with someone drilling and hammering something at 8 in a morning. It was so loud, it felon like someone is drilling a hole in my head. Breakfast was supposedly grab and go with heatable Johnson sandwiches, a few packed pastries and some juice bottles. They had some boxed cereal, but no milk. This was a disappointment as well, because the breakfast is included, but it is not a real breakfast, you have to take things to your room and clean up after yourself.
I went to the lobby after so many calls one time to talk to the front desk assistant, there were 4 people on the line to check in. While I was waiting, he received 5 calls and didn’t answer since he was helping others to check in.
After I spoke with the supervisor and explained how disappointed I am, all she could tell was that she is very sorry, they are busy and even she was cleaning the rooms. Most certainly, people who are running this place, take advantage of very few staff and make them do all the work.
Do not waist your money. This is not the place where you are going to relax.
