“The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The person who checked me in was very friendly. The pool looked ready to go, but the door was locked. The fitness room was very warm. The first floor ice machine was broken, so you had to take the elevator up to the third floor for ice. There are some maintenance issues that need addressed, but the room itself was very nice.”

“Didn't have any complimentary breakfast. Place looked run down inside and out. Couldnt understand the desk worker. Beds were hard and tv didn't work. 100% don't recommend.”

“Our stay at this motel was pretty good. Everything was as expected for a budget motel. Room was very clean and the bed was soft and comfortable. Check in was smooth and staff was very pleasant. One thing that surprised us was how quiet this property was, at night there is almost no noise at all. Rooms are very spacious and everything in the room worked as it should. The only complaint that I have is the wifi. There is almost no signal at all. I would recommend this property to those who……

“Charming throwback motel in the classic style (one floor, park outside your room). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Only grumble is that there are no usb ports, and that's only because I forgot to bring my adapter.”

“The property was clean but very worn. TV didn’t work but they got it going(it was in plugged), phone did not work, 3 people were staying we only had 2 bath towels. Deck off the pool-broken spindles, loose boards and junk on it. Breakfast was bad, waffles poor taste, my grandson could not eat, 1 bottle of water in fridge, 2 hot dishes poor taste, my husband and I had a piece of toast with peanut which sufficed and we took our grandson to Casey’s and got breakfast. ”

“The room was nice and cool when I arrived. Too many time the AC isn't when you arrive. There were enough outlets for my necessary assists. ( phone charger, hearing aids charger, Bipap machine and portable oxygen machine. However there was only one unused outlet bed side and I like my phone charger next to the bed in addition to my Bipap machine.”

“This is a family oriented property that is well maintained. I visit Decatur often but had never stayed at Homewood Suites. The only small complaint I have is the couch fabric was pretty dirty. Other than that, I highly recommend the property and would stay there again.”
