Wir waren 9 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder (4-10 Jahre) mit zwei Hunden. Wir wurden von unserem Gastgeber David unglaublich nett empfangen und fürsorglich betreut. Immer wieder gab er uns Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung, sei es wo man schön bummeln kann, seien es Wander- oder Fahrradrouten… Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet (wir haben vor allem das Wohnzimmer geliebt) und es hatte viel Charme. Wir Senioren (66 und 73 Jahre alt) hätten uns ab und zu noch ein kleines Bad zusätzlich gewünscht, aber das wussten wir vor der Buchung und wir sind auch so klar gekommen. Das Haus liegt wirklich im Dorf. Wir konnten unsere Einkäufe alle zu Fuss erledigen. Sehr angenehm! Die andere Seite ist, dass man dadurch natürlich den Straßenlärm hörte, aber das war nicht wirklich störend. Alles zusammen genommen war es richtig, richtig toll und können es nur weiterempfehlen! Proprietaire tres attentif à rendre notre sejour agréable. Nous avons aimé le blue lake et les autres sites naturels des environs. C'est un beau petit village. This home is conveniently located a few doors down from the grocery store and just a short one to two block walk to an ice cream shop, bakery and bike rentals. Just past the ice cream shop is the entrance to the beautiful park. We rented bikes and David assisted us with this to ensure we were able to get the right bikes and without having to pay the cash deposit. The Sampsons are friendly and gracious hosts. The town is adorable, with a grocery 3 doors down and plenty of restaurants in walking distance and of course everything you could want in biking distance. The beds are comfortable, toys for the kids and David makes sure you are set up with bikes if you want that, and there's food in the fridge when you arrive.
