"Très bon accueil, propriétaire présente et disponible. Grande chambre agréable, calme et très propre. Attention très grandes marches pour y accéder. Bon petit déjeuné à la française.

"We had a lovely 2 night stay. The beds were beautifully comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was new and clean and the restaurant was fantastic for dinner. "
"This property is wonderful if you are looking for a quiet French countryside chateau to stay at. It has blue herons, many cats, a rooster and fish in the pond out in front with a wonderful salt water pool. Definitely recommended. "
"We loved our stay at Château de Nazelles! Everyone was so welcoming and kind (including sweet Poppy!) and the setting cannot be beat. Just tucked away enough to feel like a private oasis but an easy and quick drive into Amboise, which was a perfect home base for exploring the rest of the Loire. Hope to be back soon, especially when the stunning pool is open! "
"We had a lovely couple of nights here. So quiet and relaxing, a true luxurious and romantic place. We had the lodge with the hot tub which had gorgeous views of the pond (number 17). Slight issue with horse flies when walking to and from the main area through the woods but they didn’t like insect repellent so that worked well.
One slight downer was we didn’t get asked if we wanted to book tables for dinner in the evenings and one night was fully booked with what must have been non resident...
"The property is one of a kind with its natural caves. Christophe the host along with his dog and cat make you feel welcome upon arrival. The property is truly remarkable albeit slightly humid as it is a natural cave. With a swimming pool surrounded by natural rock and rooms that are one of a kind, it is worth staying at Le Clos de l'Hermitage."
"It was a lovely, clean property. Very welcoming and in a great neighbourhood with pubs and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again. And the town is beautiful. "

"Séjour très agréable au Clos du Roc. Bien situé près de Tours, de Chenonceau et d'Ambroise. La propriété est magnifique, les propriétaires sympathiques et le petit-déjeuner très bons. Nous sommes Québécois et c'était notre premier séjour dans la région Centre-Val-de-Loire et nous recommandons fortement cet endroit."

Fantastic Holiday Home
"This is a fabulous holiday cottage, peaceful but accessible and with everything you need for a lovely holiday. There was amle room for a family of 6, includidng 3 adult children The cottage itself is fabulous - downstairs there are two seating areas, a master bedroom with ensuite, main bathroom, toilet, and a kitchen. There are two further bedrooms upstairs, one ensuite with a shower, and a separate toilet. The kitchen has everything you could need and more, lots of utensils, pots, pans, bowls, cutlery, glasses, and enough plates to cater for a full house. There is a gas cooker with oven, dishwasher, filter coffee machine, microwave, toaster, fridge-freezer (Brand new when we stayed). There is one large table inside another on the patio just outside the back door and a decking area up by the pool, with tables and chairs, stored in the pool house, but are simple enough to move. There is also a large barbecue area. The pool is immaculate and a great size. The cottage is in a rural setting, but there is a huge amount to do nearby with Chateaux that are loaded with history, and those loaded with Wine, if you are into Wine, I highly recommend the Caves Cathelineau. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful, they will happily provide you with a list of recommended places; all the ones we tried were great. Our only regret was not staying longer, we loved our time here and would have no hesitation in booking again"

"We rented a mobile home at this campground. It was practically brand new with everything in excellent condition. Despite being close to the city of Tours, the campground was in a quiet setting (during the day!) and easy to get in and out.
The weird part started during our check-in process. We were presented with a long list of everything that was in the mobile home and basically had to sign off that it was indeed there and in specified quantities (six forks, six knives, etc.). Another paper outlined every single thing that needed to be cleaned up before check-out which included making sure there would be no fingerprints left anywhere, floors would need to be wet-cleaned and dry by the check-out time at 10am, etc.
The check-out procedure indeed turned out to be a humiliating experience we have never experienced before. The person (who is likely the owner) came with their cleaner to inspect everything in details in front of us. He was picking up particles from the floors, was lifting and checking the toilet seat, was checking appliances, utensils, EVERYTHING. It makes you wonder why the check-in time is 4pm and check-out time is 10am if the cleaning is on customers anyway? Instead of enjoying my morning coffee I literally spent the evening before drying the dishes and the morning cleaning up and removing the fingerprints... That was pretty insane and totally ruined the experience. Had we known this, we would never go there. No surprise their campground is barely occupied."
