This is a 4-5 unit B&B just north of Tours, convenient for visiting several of the major chateaus in the Loire valley...we visited Ambois, Blois and Chambord. The property dates from the Ninth Century and sits next to a "rock" that has passage ways inside leading to a swimming pool area 25 steps up with 10 mile views of the surrounding area. Four of the units are in a wonderfully repurposed stable, with squeaky floors, overhead pegged beams, modern beds and en-suite bathrooms, and tons of character. The hosts do not offer dinner, but were happy to point us to a great place about 10 minutes walk with great pizza and other Italian dishes.

We enjoyed several days here. The hosts are most friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable. We have no hesitation in recommending this establishment, it exceeded our expectations by a large margin and the hosts are to be congratulated for their achievement. We will certainly return.

What a charming property! Spacious room, with everything we needed (including air conditioning). Lovely breakfast with local cheese. Walking distance to wineries. We had a wonderful time in pool overlooking the valley.

What a fantastic place, the owner can not do more for you. From the moment you realise what’s behind the gate to the hidden access to get to the pool. I’d stay here again tomorrow. We travelled with two you children who were over the moon to be here. You’ll feel welcomed from the moment you get here to the moment you leave. Breakfast was lovely and the dinner and vineyard recommendations were spot on. All I can say is, if you are looking to stay in this area stay here!!
