Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean with very efficient shower and lovely towels. Parking wasn’t a problem. 2 things that would be an improvement but in no way would stop me rebooking are if there was a bedside light and bigger teacups ie mugs."Reviewed September 12, 2026Roundtrip • Boston (BOS) - Bristol (BRS)BOS - BRS • 1 stop BRS - BOS • 1 stop$1,498$1,410found 1 day agoper traveler - De Vere Tortworth Court

The Lordleaze Hotel And Restaurant
The Lordleaze Hotel And Restaurant"While the stay was just ok, I was disappointed with the support from the hotel team in getting good wifi in room 20. The mobile network was patchy in this place, and on top of that, the wifi in the room was on and off. It disrupted my planned work. Reporting this to the staff did not help. This place would be my last choice next time."
"The rooms were clean, the parking is great and if you travel by train its opposite the station. There is no food options for dinner, but you can order in and sit in the dinning room, which is lovely and charming. I love this hotel. I think its run for and by YMCA(but could be wrong)."
"Very friendly owners, liked the history of the house."
"Beautiful setting, full of character. Wonderfully welcoming and helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast! The regular menu is also excellent. A nice respite in a busy world!"
