The room was surprisingly large with a more than spacious bathroom and both really clean. The adjoining pub/ restaurant had a really good atmosphere with a good range of beers. Staff were really nice friendly willing to help out wherever they can. Excellent food served in a stylish and informal setting by professional and friendly staff. A wide range of casks and draught ales and lagers was accompanied by a rounded wine list with many flavoured spirits and interesting concoctions available for the more adventurous. The menu was both varied and interesting, the food well presented and of an excellent standard. The room was spacious and well appointed with a large ensuite that included a rolltop bath. The complete package is competitively priced and excellnet value. We will definitely return for another indulgent stay.
