“Excellent stay in a comfortable room with many useful facilities such as tea and coffee, including a nespresso machine, an Echo Dot, a good shower and a comfortable bed. Gary and Jamie were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions on where to visit and where to eat. Will stay there again.”

“The decor in reception was a little dated but the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming.l and helpful. The rooms we had booked were nice and comfortable and clean. We ate in the restaurant and really enjoyed the food. Breakfast had a good choice of hot food.”

“Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. ”

“C'était un vendredi et le pub servait alors il y avait un peu de bruit avec la fenêtre ouverte. Mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment gêné. On est allé boire un coup également. L'hôtel n'est pas moderne, mais très confortable. Les chambres sont vraiment très bien. Pour se garer, il y a un parking payant en journée très proche et très pratique pour charger et décharger les affaires. Le personnel est très dynamique, sympathique,le petit déjeuner très copieux. Nous avons apprécié notre nuit ! ”

“English breakfast is excellent. Staff is very friendly. The shower screen is only half way so water sprays outside to the wall and floor. The firedoor upstairs at the top of the stairs is kept open and the firedoor along the corridor doesn't close properly. These need attention for fire regulations. ”
