Dr.-Ruer-Platz Vacations from $735

Very good quality for the price

The location, the staff, the room, the amenities, the breakfast were all excellent. It’s an outstanding hotel for business travelers and, speaking for myself, I would stay there for leisure as well.

The location is excellent. Across the street is a great Edeka grocery store, and within a short walking distance were several decent restaurants. A 4 minute walk up the street was a great coffee shop that roasts its own beans. Just an excellent location. The room (esp. the bed and pillows) was comfortable, albeit a bit small, and we had to leave the windows open as it was a warm week (we like it cold at night) -- so that was a bit noisy. It was fine because we sleep with ear plugs even at home. I don't recall using air conditioning as a filter -- so I can't speak to this. I didn't even check as the room was generally comfortable -- only at night did it feel warm to me but that's because we're used to cold San Francisco Bay evenings. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. Every encounter we had with the staff was very positive.
