Located in Cameron County and situated on 23 acres of private property with beautiful mountain views. Great fishing directly across the road (route 120) from the cabin. We are 2 miles from the Emporium Country Club, perfect for any golf lover! Minutes from Dents Run Elk Viewing Area and only 20 minutes to the town of Benezette home of The Elk Visitor Center. There are plenty of activities including hiking along Fred Wood's Trail, canoeing, kayaking, exploring Sinnemahoning State Park, visit the Sinnemahoning Wild Life Center, Hiking the Quehanna Wilds, explore Kettle Creek State Park, star gazing at Cherry Springs State Park, visit Sizerville State Park and Table Falls! - These activities are minutes from our location and not to mention, 3 restaurants are within minutes of the cabin!

Overall was a very nice place to stay. Great location . It truly is beautiful country around that area. My only quirks were being charged a 80.00 cleaning fee for a one night stay. Also that cabin musty smell inside was kinda irritating.

Great cabin!
Seriously amazing. Great communication with the owner and check-in and out couldn't have been easier. If you are looking for somewhere near the elk this is a great choice. In our 5 night stay we saw elk (including a bull across the street from the property), bald eagles, a bear, turkey and the deer who seemed to be at the front door every morning. The fire pit was used every night. All the rooms were very clean and the furniture was comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

We love staying in Elk Country
We usually stay in the area twice a year in June and August and we loved the cabin because of the privacy and amazing views. We didn’t see any elk but each morning there were two doe and four fawns grazing near the cabin. The front porch and fire pit were great additions. Thanks for the hospitality.

A Wonderful Retreat!
This was our 1st visit to PA and our accommodations have made us want to come back! We had everything we needed for a weeks long stay. The house/cabin was clean and just the right size for the 4 of us. The view was spectacular and it was quiet. After our daily adventures it was really nice to come "home".

Good and not so good.
Great remote location. Tub/shower extremely slippery and certainly a hazard. Lights inside very dim and it took a day to figure out where the kitchen light switches were located. Air condition system was very good. Road needs work. Would be nice if there were actually two spearate bedrooms rather than the one bedroom and another large room that shares two more beds. Another small separate bathroom (no tub/shower needed) would help. Needs a new sofa/bed. Current one is very hard and uncomfortable to sit on. Really nice new gas/wood burner. Great porch to sit on even in bad weather to enjoy the beauty of the area. Well water sufficent flow and good tasting. Faciltiy kept in good condition. Overall, enjoyable.
