About this property

Cozy/Cute Tiny House close to wineries, wedding venues & outdoor fun

  • Tom Dooley’s Hideout is located at the Gateway to the hill country, just minutes west of Dripping Springs off of hwy 290. It’s a unique 4 acre property with 5 modern tiny houses that sit on open range with free grazing livestock which occasionally show up as they do not belong to us. This tiny house comfortably sleeps 2 on a queen bed but we do have a sofa/futon that's great for kids. Enjoy sitting on the porch or at the picnic table under the trees to kick back and relax on a cool evening. We do allow pet guests but want to note that there is a $40 fee PER pet PER night so please be sure and include them on your reservation.

Perfect place to stay! As a single woman traveling alone, I felt very comfortable and safe. Bed was comfy. The AC was great and there was a fan mounted on the wall, pointing directly at the bed (which was a huge plus)! Very cute and quiet place. I’ll stay here everytime in the future when visiting my family!

Great Stay!

The small home had everything we needed. It was very clean, had a few snacks/candy, bottles of water for us and coffee/cream/sugar as well as hotel toiletries. We would definitely stay again.

It was a great get away close to hiking and even bouldering spots. I ate a Sandwhich outside with my spouse and besties. Private and comfy bed. I just wish that they had a stove top but you can always bring your own!!
