In a lovely location with numerous walking trails. Restaurant and bar was very good, large portions and a variety of nice selection. Rooms were a bit dated and maid service lacking. Floors not vacuumed during our stay, beds not made, toilet paper not refilled. I would stay here again.

The hotel is impressive. It's fun to stay in a castle.The breakfast buffet is extensive and the dining area is beautiful. The hotel has its own parking lot and you will need a car to get around this area. There isn't easy access to public transportation.With a car, it's just a 10-15 minute drive to Dublin City Center, Howth, or the Airport. I recommend visiting Howth, if you have time. It is a village on the coast with a beautiful cliff walk and several pubs, restaurants, markets and boutiques.
