The bedrooms smelled like bad body odor and carpet in both bedrooms were stained and dirty, when we arrived it was cold and we had to figure out how to use heating system. “We had a peaceful stay in this clean and sweet cabin. We took several walks nearby. No need to drive anywhere, just leave the compound and connect to the hill walk or the Great Glen Way. Perfect and helpful hosts! There was plenty of firewood for the wood burning stove. We are looking forward to staying again when we are in Scotland!”

"Staying at this hotel was like a roller coaster of service, and I just wanted to get away. Breakfast: We were asked to pay an extra £18 per person, and we were told we could cancel it, but they forced it on us. Cleaning: The "wet" towels were placed on the bed, but how do I use them? Biscuits were only replenished on the last day. The cleaning standards varied from day to day, suggesting a problem with "standardized procedures" and "staff training." They even unplugged our chargers and threw them on the floor without permission. The lunch server said there were no sundaes, but the dinner server said they were available "all day.""
