“Such a wonderful place! A whole little cabin all to yourself. The hosts were kind and have very clear instructions for the check in and check out process as well as things for during yoyr stay. The views are nice the place is clean and cozy and they have a really nice bath! I will certianly stay again if I am back in town and will reccomend it to anyone who is going to the area!”

“A great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very comfortable and well maintained. There was one issue for us - the bed has a wooden frame and base which squeak loudly every time you move in the bed. We used ear plugs the second night. Overall though it was excellent and we would stay again. The owner was very friendly and helpful.”

“It is as described, basic amenities, easily heated in winter, would be hot in summer.Comfortable beds. Friendly dog, chickens and goats. As noted by others, unsignposted, unlit rough track to property: 1.5 kms. Arriving after sunset on a wet winter night wasn’t pleasant, and the rain overnight made me worry about how it would be in the morning. The explanation that the hosts don’t want people to find them seems very odd when it is an income producing exercise and not an obvious target for theft.……

“Communication with the host was great and we really appreciated the early check-in. The house was as pictured - great for 2 or 3 people, but not really enough comfortable seating for more. Very handy to Manukau and a quiet neighbourhood. It's on the flight path but we weren't bothered by that. The beds we used were very comfortable, with extra bedding provided. The shower pressure isn't great but there was plenty of hot water. The main downside and the reason we didn't give 5 stars was the lack……

Our stay was made all the better by our wonderful hosts, who looked after us very well, checked on how my husband was recovering and insured we had everything we needed for our two weeks stay. Wonderful location with the local New World a 2-minute drive and the town centre a 5-minute drive. We highly recommend a stay here; you will not be disappointed. We would happily stay again.”
