Find hotels in Drušići from $50

While Drušići itself is a small, traditional village, the best area to stay for exploring the region would be in the nearby historic city of Cetinje, or in accommodations offering easy access to Lake Skadar National Park, which Drušići borders.

For travelers seeking a blend of cultural exploration and natural beauty, staying in or very close to Cetinje offers the most convenient and comfortable experience. Cetinje served as the royal capital of Montenegro, and its compact center is rich with museums, monasteries, and grand former embassies, all easily walkable. The main pedestrian street, Njegoševa, is lined with cafes and provides a pleasant setting for an evening stroll. This area is particularly well-suited for history enthusiasts and couples who appreciate a relaxed pace and a glimpse into Montenegro's past.

Alternatively, for those prioritizing direct access to the natural splendor of Lake Skadar, accommodations closer to the lake's shores, such as in Rijeka Crnojevića or within the national park boundaries, are ideal. Rijeka Crnojevića, a picturesque riverside town, is known for its iconic horseshoe bend in the river and offers opportunities for boat tours and kayaking on the lake. This area is superb for couples and solo travelers who are keen on outdoor activities, birdwatching, and experiencing the tranquil beauty of the Montenegrin countryside.

The best time to go to Drušići is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities and the crowds are smaller.

Late spring offers comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 60-75°F (15-24°C), ideal for exploring the surrounding landscapes and enjoying nature walks. The foliage is lush, and the air is fresh, making it a great time for travelers who appreciate scenic beauty without extreme heat.

Early autumn also provides mild weather, with temperatures similar to late spring, ranging from 60-70°F (15-21°C). This period is excellent for those interested in hiking or cycling through the countryside.
