It was amazing! Right in the heart of downtown. As two women travelling it was safe to walk at night. We have high standards and they met them lol.
Alen helped us with our luggage. Which was great because we would’ve fallen down the stairs. It would be difficult to find accommodations where you don’t have to haul up stairs. It has air-conditioning, which is key for summer and the water pressure in the shower was very good.
The property was beautiful. We’re very happy with our stay and would recommend!
Central location to the old town. However getting to the hotel was hard for us with suitcases due to a lot of stairs. The uber driver dropped us at a location where getting to the hotel was a nightmare for us. My recommendation is that you get dropped off right at the entrance of old town and take the first alley which has 5-6 larger steps to roll or drag your suitcases if you have them, that way you will prolly have to only take 34-35 steep steps versus for us it was harder. But overall responsive staff and clean place. Opening and closing the magnetic door was some work !
Fantastic room. Very spacious with a fridge, kettle and cooking facilities/utensils.
The best bit is get the room with a balcony. It’s rare in Dubrovnik and the views are simply stunning from there.
5 mins from main square and all attractions and just amazing.
You need to be fit to walk around in Dubrovnik and the hotel
Is up a steep slope…..but worth it
There are a couple of very important points you need to be aware of before booking this property.
1) You need to be able to climb 46 steep steps with your luggage to reach the first room - luckily we were in Apt 12, which appeared to be the nearest to street level. Not sure what we would have done if our room was lower numbered as it’s a big ask for a nearly 70 year old couple to manage that.
2) Unless I’m mistaken, this is not really a hotel in any sense, but a series of apartments.
On the plus side, the room was very clean (the cleaner helped us store our luggage there at 10:00 a.m. as we had just finished our cruise) and cleaned the room and made it available from 11:00 which was very kind). The air conditioning was excellent and so was the shower. Needed more pillows (just one each). Dubrovnik is clearly a very expensive city as the price for this room is pretty staggering all things considered.
Everything from the staff, to the breakfast, to the views on the cutest patio was perfection. Loved it here and would definitely recommend!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The apartment was great. It was modern, tastefully furnished and comfortable. It is in a very central location albeit it is up a steep flight of stairs but we didn't find this a problem.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wound have no hesitation recommending it to others.
I genuinely enjoyed my stay at San Rocco Palace. The staff were helpful, the room was spotless, and the balcony was just perfect. Just let u know Dubrovnik is full of steps, so it might not be ideal for someone with knee issues as my room was on the top floor, but totally worth the experience. Everything was perfect, and I’d definitely stay here again!
Incredible location, beautiful modern and clean rooms with excellent service. The climb to the property is intense but there are stairs everywhere in Dubrovnik. There is an additional climb once in the property to get to the rooms but the view made it worth it. Gorgeous rooms!!!
Excellent property. Very Modern and clean. Very responsive staff. The location is really central. Only issue was the tv didn't work properly but that was very minor. Overall a great stay!
Located inside the old town. This B&B is stunning. We were staying in the room 16. Beautiful wooden beams, spacious, little kitchenette, beautiful balcony overlooking the inside of Dubrovnik. The girl in charge of the little B&B is very friendly and brought our Breakfast inside the room the next morning and was delicious. Not cheap but worth it for a short stay.
We felt so lucky to have stayed in San Rocco Palace. It was spotlessly clean, had everything we needed, and the people we interacted with were kind and helpful. Dubrovnik is built on hills, so this hotel like every hotel in the old town will require climbing multiple stone steps.
Property very charming with lovely walk in shower. hob for cooking and utensils with full size fridge . Two flights of stone stairs to enter from outside into property was not really an issue for me as a senior. Breakfast delivery was on time and excellent quality. Walking distance to main sights with abundance of restaurants and bars minutes away. Highly recommend.

Room was clean and very nice. Amenities very limited. Coffee machine was not in room. Crazy amount of steep stairs to get to room and no help with luggage would be a nice service.
The property is gorgeous and impeccable. Very close to restaurants and a short walk to the wall. The negative, is the locks to the room that never really worked even after someone came to show us how to lock the door. It should not be this difficult to feel safe. It wasn't just us, as we heard someone helping the room upstairs and proceeded to slam the door trying to get the strike to align and work.
