Beautiful Location but very disappointed.

Posted Nov 8, 2017
Pros: It really was beautiful. It was like a retreat in the city. The landscaping and the actual building on the outside was really beautiful.
Cons: Signs and lighting in the parking lot Quality mattresses. The jacuzzi's would be in working order
Location: I was there for a conference so didn't really have time to venture out other than to get something to eat. There were several places close by.
We arrived in the evening, after dark. While the location is beautiful, the parking lot was like a giant maze and poorly lit, which felt very unsafe as it is a very wooded area. The valet was initially very rude and seemed frazzled with the number of guests coming in and how to direct them. I just waited (I drove a SUV with a trailer) and he was then helpful. The gentleman at the front desk was kind but gave me incorrect information about where to park my trailer. I am thankful that I asked or I would have been towed. The worst part is that I paid a lot of money for this room for two nights and the bed was horrible. It wasn't level and it was just a poor quality mattress terribly in need of replacement. The mattress appeared to be a pillow top mattress. However, it was just a cheap mattress with a thick mattress pad that had shrunk, so was a little small for the bed. I typically have no problems sleeping an had stayed the previous week at an economy hotel where the mattress was fabulous.

Nice hotel and quiet

Posted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: The quietness and hotel staff are always pleasant.
Cons: Add Fridges to each room and replace the beds.
Location: There are some restaurants that aren't too bad close and close to IAD airport. Close to I66 to get you into Fairfax, DC, etc.
The hotel is always very quiet and nice place to stay. They are in the midst of a face-lift which is needed and they need to add Fridges to every room and replace the beds. They are worn out and not as comfortable as they used to be.

Great quiet hotel and staff is always amazing.

Pros: The spacious and quiet room.
Cons: The hotel needs a little updating but they are working on that.
I stay at the hotel every time my needs require me to stay in the Chantilly area. I know the staff well and they are truly amazing. The rooms/hotel are quiet and spacious. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to this area.
