“It was good for the price. But to check in you have to call a number and wait. It doesn’t tell you that and the number is on the door so you can’t call early. Simeon from another location comes to let you in. Breakfast is do it yourself continental, not amazing. We are at The Pantry just a few places down, amazing. The lady that checked us in was nice. Room was small but worked. Bed slanted towards head so needed up sleeping opposite direction.”
“The room (143) was compact but everything I needed was there. The bed was super soft and comfortable with pillows the same. Tea and coffee making facilities were great. The room was beautifully clean and towels were soft and fluffy. At breakfast the staff were super attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them they worked efficiently diligently and with a great smile. I enjoyed three wonderful breakfasts and have to say I did over indulge because it was so nice. The pièce de résistance……
“Staff were very helpful, warm and friendly. Bar waals was great, with lovely locals. James nd the rest of bar and restaurant staff were warm friendly and made it a great experience. Room was very comfortable and functional.
Lovely beach view from picnic tbles in bck of building.”
“This is a wonderful B&B, with amazing views. Our room was spacious and comfortable; Des and Susan were great hosts and made us feel very welcome. Great choices for breakfast, freshly cooked Irish breakfast and lovely porridge too. Plenty of local fresh fruit and honey. Good location for Waterford. Would highly recommend Samuels Heritage B&B.”
“Stayed 1 night in a “deluxe” room, the experience started well with the unusual arrival via a short ferry and the drive through the private island, but sadly the luxury experience ended as soon as we had parked up and headed for check-in. Little did we know that the hotel was largely booked out by a huge wedding party, to even get to reception required us to gatecrash through their “private” BBQ held on the lawn in front of hotel. We were looking forward to a quiet stay, but as we went out for……
“Glandarragh Inn was a great introduction to Ireland as it's where I spent my first night
I would maybe recommend a bike shed to attract more motorcyclists as the car park has plenty of space
the wood fired pizza oven was very attractive and I ended up having a diavolo pizza alongside a guinness in the evening
Staff were friendly and helpful
it's a shame that early morning breakfast options were not available for those travelling long distances the next day but I understand that can often be the……
“Basic accommodation in a building separate from the pub. My room smelt a bit weird. The shower lacked vigour and could not be detached from the wall. The staff were good.”
“Had I known that the room and where we needed to register were in two separate locations (10 minute walk in the rain) I would not have booked this place. Parking was said to be easily accessible on the street was not true at the time. Other than that, the room was acceptable.”
“Overall, we had a very good stay.
The location is very convenient, especially for getting around, while the rooms were pleasantly quiet, which made for a relaxing stay.
The breakfast booking was also a nice surprise in terms of value, although it could perhaps have been communicated a little more clearly that the full à la carte breakfast menu was included, as this was not entirely obvious to us at first.
Other than that, the staff were friendly, everything worked smoothly, and we had an……
“The huts and gardens were fantastic. The huts had everything you needed and were clean and tidy. Loved sitting in the hot tub at night watching the bats! ”
