Lack of instructions as how to operate the TV. and other appliances. Also what to do with refuse? . Shower was good but drips all night. Bed was slightly uncomfortable being given hard pillows but also foot end higher than head end, felt giddy. Bathroom mirror too high - not able to see oneself.
Apart from that, nice quiet location, very secure , excellent hot and cold water and plenty of toiletries supplied.

Lovely apartment. Have now stayed in Edinburgh and St Andrews apartments. Kitchenette light on utensils/cloths but overall a lovely quality property.

Solidly ok stay. Self checkin and no staff is weird but I suppose it helps bring down price. The condition is quite rundown. It’s not unclean, but it for sure needs more upkeep.

Nice B&B - room was spacious and clean and bed was comfortable. Close to bus stops to reach the city center and airport (both about 20-30 minutes). My room faced the road so it was a little bit noisy.

Initially was assigned a very small room in the eaves, not the “classic double” as advertised. Staff were very helpful and allowed me to upgrade for a reasonable price. Breakfast was excellent and the restaurant menu very good, with excellent service throughout.
The house itself is impressive but rooms and common areas are frankly knackered. Greasy marks around switches, peeling, chipped wallpaper and broken furniture throughout. I paid to upgrade to the “royal suite”, in order to get a desk and mirror, but it was just a very large room, not a suite, and with none of the expected facilities you would get with a suite (fridge, minibar, writing materials etc).
Grounds are brilliant however and the shortcomings of the building were made up by the excellent food and high standard of customer service.
