"Great location, fantastic facilities + helpful staff.
The only problem was that (even on the 7th floor with the windows closed] the trams and emergency vehicles on the main road were so loud it made it hard to sleep"

Clear and concise instructions how to contact free shuttle from the airport. Immediate response regardless of late arrival. Quick show up of the car to pick us up. Friendly and efficient check in. Opportunity to get really early coffee and some fruits (around 4.15 a.m.)! Wake up call. Very good option for night over. Well recommended

I recently stayed at this hotel and found its location to be incredibly convenient, especially for those with early travel plans. The pricing was reasonable, and I was impressed by the exceptional food and bar service. The front desk team was outstanding, offering top-notch assistance throughout my stay.
However, I did notice that the cleanliness of the rooms could use some improvement. While the hotel excels in several areas, attention to room cleanliness could elevate the overall experience...

The hotel staff is wonderful; friendly, helpful. Each spoke perfect English. The food was fabulous, the patio nice and the bed comfortable. We had two unusual issues: first our shower stopped up then the door handle broke, but each item was handled quickly and efficiently with great apologies. The gentleman who carried our luggage refused a tip....said it was his favor. We felt like really welcomed guests and will stay there again

The hotel and staff were great. We traveled with my daughter and dog, which alone can be hectic but the hotel was accommodating. We came on a weekend trip and the hotel even gave us a few extra hours to keep our bags and items in the room, while we went to the Budapest zoo nearby. It is a small gesture that will be remembered because not everywhere allows dogs and we thought it might make for an issue, especially at a zoo but since the dog stood in the room it was no issue. Clean, modern, and...

Everything about this hotel was WONDERFUL! I chose it based on the decor and it exceeded expectations. Every detail was intentional and the layering of patterns and textures spoke to the culture and traditions of the region. The attendants who took our luggage were dressed in red suits and a pill box hat recalling luxury travel on the Orient Express. The lobby felt like a cozy library, the floors were covered richly colored hand woven rugs, the hall leading to the restaurant and bar had hand...

Location! Walking distance to everything.
We were 5 and had the most beautiful penthouse, 3 comfortable bedrooms with a fabulous balcony, great view of the city.
Wonderfull staff. So helpful, we check out before our flight and they have a locker room special for the luggage.
Highly recommended.

Very nicely remodeled building. Breakfast space was very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Rooms were large and bathrooms were exceptional.
Only negative comment was the pool/spa area didn't offer much seating or hooks for towels and robes. The floor in the spa area is also very slippery. And there is a sauna but no steam room.

Located across the street from the famous Medical University it seems to be mostly used by students and their families. Semmelweis has a lot of foreign students so I guess having a hotel this close makes sense.
Probably the best value in south Pest. Be aware however that the rooms DO NOT HAVE A TELEVISION! Which is fine by me since I don't go to Pest to watch TV anyway.

Nice hotel. Clean and nice location. Reception staff were wonderful but many of the staff in restaurant lounge and buffet were rude and short; almost annoyed you were bothering them. Stayed there before; probably will choose another location bcuz of the restaurant lounge evening staff. Breakfast and lunch buffet were very good but dinner buffet was not. Spa is fair. Nothing spectacular. Only one pool available due to construction. Had two Thai massages. The first was amazing with Anna. The...

The best area to stay in Ecser is the central part of the village, particularly around Szabadság tér (Liberty Square), as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and a more traditional village experience.
This central area is where you'll find the most concentrated collection of local shops, a few eateries, and the village's cultural landmarks. Szabadság tér is the heart of Ecser, featuring the Reformed Church and the Town Hall, and it serves as a natural gathering point. The streets radiating from this square provide a glimpse into local life.
For travelers seeking a quiet and authentic Hungarian village experience, staying near Szabadság tér is ideal.
When is the best time to go to Ecser?

During late spring, the countryside around Ecser is in full bloom, offering beautiful scenery and ideal conditions for exploring the local area. Temperatures are mild, making it superb for outdoor activities like visiting the Ecser Folk Dance Ensemble or exploring the village's historic church. This period is also excellent for couples who enjoy scenic walks and cultural experiences without the peak summer crowds.
Early autumn also offers agreeable weather with cooler temperatures and colorful foliage, which is particularly appealing for those who appreciate natural beauty. Harvest festivals often take place during this time, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience local traditions and cuisine.
