Lovely historical hotel near Parliament in Canberra. Let down a little bit by the restaurant an seemed to be quite short staffed when we visited

A great room in an awesome location

Second stay just as good as the first. Friendly helpful staff. The in house restaurants and bar are all terrific. Most striking and welcoming is the decor: mid century styles in jewel colours making the rooms and lobby feel warm and welcoming in th midst of a Canberra winter.
