Note: the executive stay hotels don’t have daily room service. Late check out is noon. This is outside a busy downtown bus stop with vagrants. Staff was very understanding despite Expedia misbooking the studio suite and bedroom suite. Apparently, Expedia needs to clarify this for bookings. Central location in downtown Pittsburgh, adjacent to the State Park and Market Square. About $15-$20 Uber/Lyfts to neighboring spots like the Strip, Oakland, and Lawrenceville. Somewhat walkable downtown but not many street level shops. A few city bike rental stops run through PBSC, though not very many across the city. Okay food scene, coming from SF/NYC.

After the 3rd party booking app messed up our reservation, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and reassuring. They cleared up the issue and provided further information to ensure we would not be taken advantage of further. Every staff member from bartender to bell hop was courteous and helpful. Every member of staff we encountered were exceptional. The food however, left much to be desired and the cleanliness was fine but not comforting eg. dust and grime in corners, dirty cutlery, and the windows were noticeably unkept.
