"Our "Superior" room had a magnificent, second floor ocean view. The food at the Avalon restaurant was superb, but the waitstaff (Martin, Valentina, Valeria, Niorca and Yajida) were even better! Our room was cleaned daily by a very trustworthy staff. The shower water was hot. The hotel manager, Jesus, speaks excellent English and was very hospitable and helpful. He arranged our airport pick-up and drop-off. The pool is very nice but was closed for cleaning for too long and too often. Overall, highly recommend!"

"The room was clean, the linens were older. The ladies who prepared and served the breakfast were friendly and efficient. The front desk staff were not helpful or friendly. The shower leaked because the door of the shower would not stay closed unless you held it while you showered. The bath floor was covered in water after every shower. We rang the water out the towels to dry the floor. We were given an extra towel. The front desk staff was seldom available. Hotel policy was to leave your room key in a small basket on the front desk. But there was no one there to watch the keys and the front door, only two steps away, was unlocked into the building. No security for the room keys. Our room was never cleaned and no new towels were provided. The hotel is located across the street from the beach but there is a sea wall and there is no close access to the beach. Very few rooms have a sea view and our room had no sea view at all. "

"The location was perfect across the street from the beach and facing the sunsets. There were large windows from the living room and dining room. The beds were comfortable. The area was a bit noisy in the morning with service trucks but beautiful surrounding overall. We felt very secure in this area. The furniture was a bit old like the couches with some cracks in the faux leather but functional and clean."
