We chose The Orocco Pier Hotel for two nights after a week on the Royal Mile and a 6-day Rabbie’s tour to the Outer Hebrides. It was meant to be relaxing before going home and it was that. Room was great, modern and spacious for an old historic building. What made our stay perfect was the employees. From all of the front desk staff to the cleaning people to the waitstaff at the two amazing restaurants there was not one employee who didn’t give 100% service with a smile. I would especially like to call out Neven who was working the front desk at 5:30 am the day we left. we are an older couple and my husband was very sick with a bad cold as we were leaving. Neven cheerfully arranged to get our cab for 5:30 and came up and got our luggage and helped us load everything. So Chipper and sweet at that hour! I would whole heartedly recommend you stay at The Orocco Pier Hotel as part of your stay in amazing Edinburgh.
