"I was surprised by the level of trust put into the use of online rental and check-in process. To me it was very unique to find the hotel and realize there was not a front desk person. However the signs indicated on the window showed me the way to find my room and get into the room itself. After several attempts to get in we called the number again and they reset the password and gave us some hints as to opening the door. I appreciated the help online after I realized that was the way I was communicating."

Banks Lake Retreat-Pool, Views & Lake Access

10/10 Excellent
"My family raved about this home the minute they got in. Even the hard to please folks were impressed. We loved the private swimming pool for early morning and late night swimming. Lots of pool toys in the deck box. The house is also very spacious and made it easy for all of us to have our own space and spread out. The house is very well maintained and new. Having 2 refrigerators would probably come very handy for a longer stay for some groups. One thing to keep in mind is one of the bedrooms require you to exit the room before entering the main house and you do need to walk up a staircase to get into the living room/kitchen. It was not an issue for our group, since my in-laws were more than happy to have their own bedroom with powder room. They said it was completely insulated from the main house noise so they had better sleep."
