Elephantine Island Tours

Our stay was good. The air conditioner in the main bedroom of the suite stopped working on our last night. I tried to adjust the temperature but was unable to cool down the room. The driver that they have is great. Very knowledgeable about the area and other cities in Egypt. I highly recommend using the driver service they offer as it is more safe to use than taxi service.

The hotel is right on the Nike River and is so peaceful. A beautiful location especially when watching the sunrise and the boats sailing back and forth. The room was beautifully decorated and the staff went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met. I will stay again when I’m in Aswan.

The view was absolutely stunning, couldn’t say enough about the view from our room or the rooftop restaurant. During our stay renovations were happening so yes there was construction clutter but it was still easy to move around. The only issue we really had was that the wifi wasn’t really strong or working in and out. I know you don’t come on holidays to surf the net but with the smart tv… it kinda needs a strong signal if you want to relax in bed and watch a movie. Overall the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good.. can’t really go wrong with fresh pastries and buns for breakfast. For us going into it with we are in a foreign country knowing the food will be different from home the food was fantastic, if you are trying to compare to food from home then that is a different story as spices, cheese etc are different. So you need to be aware if you have picky eaters. Overall we would give it an 8/10 with thr nsin highlight being the view.
