"I really liked the location to the Old Town and the River Boat trips.I loved the space, the room with a lounge/dining/kitchenette/ bedroom, and the generous shower room. There were TVs in the lounge and the bedroom. There were no dishes or cutlery, but it suited us to have coffee, yoghurt, etc., and there was a good-sized fridge and microwave. It was also nice one night to have a carry-out from Patathai and sit at the table and relax. The Radisson is surrounded by a great choice of Restaurants. We travelled as a couple, but it would be suitable if you had a child, as the sofa was a sofa bed.
I was confused by Expedia's site, as it said "with breakfast," but when I paid, they said I had to choose it. We ended up with Spa access that you had to book, but we never used it. I would rather have had breakfast included. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
I did, however, have reflexology and a Thai massage, which was worth every penny. The therapist was amazing.
Olga booked us in; she was friendly and professional. I was really impressed with the space in the studio apartment, and that the windows open if you don't want to use the air-conditioning. Viktora had the room really clean and well looked after throughout our stay. The beds were really comfortable. I did like the separate duvets."
"We had a wonderful stay at the Radison Blu in Gdansk. The staff was great, working to transfer us to another room when the AC did not work well. The location was great, allowing us to walk to everything we wanted to see in the old area of the city. Very pleased with the stay."
"The apartments were lierally a 2 minute walk from the main hotel reception, where you check in. The staff on reception were very friendly and efficient, and even though check in was at 4pm and we arrived at 2:30pm, they were quite happy to take our case off us and keep it until the apartment was ready. The apartment is situated on Granary Island which is just across the river from the sites of the old town. If you arrive at the main railway station it is an easy 25 minute walk to the property. The apartment itself, was very sacious and had been very well cleaned, as had all the public areas of the building. It was well equipped crockery, cutlery etc. however if you do not want to cook meals yourself, there is an abundance of restaurants and eateries by the river, 5 minutes walk away. In the immediate area there are a good number of supermarkets, which were reasonably priced. If we made a return visit to Gdansk, I would certainly hope we could stay there again"
"The room was very clean and welcoming. We had a small balcony which was unexpected. Our twin room had comfortable beds and air con and the balcony door could also open as a window. The mini bar was very reasonably priced and tea/coffee in the room too. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had fruit, cheese, cold meats, eggs, tea coffee, hot plates with an assortment of polish sausage and pierogi. Fantastic choice. We also ate in the restaurant one evening and had chicken with fondant potatoes which was delicious.
The bathroom had everything required and was very tastefully decorated.
The complimentary Spa was outstanding. Very helpful staff, pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.
I liked the location on the river BUT there is no way to walk alongside it into the main city. The city is approx 5/10 minutes walk through and underpass below a motorway. I highly recommend this hotel and I can’t wait to return"
