Towels in bathroom were small and all ripped, the bedding was ripped. One mirror in the room but sadly not near the dressing table. Toilet has a leak and was running all through the night. Also an air leak somewhere as you could hear the hiss all night too. I wouldn’t stay again but I would use the restaurant. The staff were lovely and the food was nice at a reasonable price.

Room is very spacious, our room is located at attic at a building cross a busy road from where hotel reception is , has no lift , lucky we don’t have large luggage . Good breakfast but very limited choice . There was tooth brush or sewing kits available. Not quite sure how 5 stars rated. Only a basic B&B

Check in was difficult, and we were not told about any of the common rooms at the hotel. The room was very small, and I’ve been on cruises that had larger bathrooms. The shower was very small, approximately 3 square feet, and the sink was very tiny. It was virtually impossible to wash your face or brush your teeth in it. I didn’t think they made sinks that small! Overall, the room seemed rather run down. We had to ask where the restaurant was located. The food was good, but the restaurant had a funny smell - old and quite unpleasant. Breakfast the next morning was good; it was a buffet with several different offerings. Generally, we were disappointed.
