“This property is the cutest cottage - an older home that has been updated but still keeping with it's original details and charm. My 91 YO dad loved it - it was very nostalgic for him. I would have loved to stay a bit longer just to soak in the nostalgia. I would highly recommend this property, it is walking distance to several of the Mayberry sights. If I am in the area for an overnight, I will stay here again. ”

“We had such a great time! The accommodations were some of the best we have had. Location was awesome, it was within walking distance of Mayberry activity and one block from the Squad Car tours. Neighborhood was quiet, you could walk it anytime day or night. Host provided tons of amenities… the free candy jar was a hit. The bungalow was updated and decor was perfect. “We come out to NC Wine Country every Spring and Fall and if we have a big enough group (6-8), this has been our preferred property. It's perfectly situated near so many of our favorite Wineries and Vineyards, so our itinerary always starts and ends locally. “This home was perfect for 4 lifetime friends to get together, share memories, play some local golf, and just catch up on each other’s lives. The accommodations suited all our needs and in a beautiful setting mountain setting. Looks like some recent additions to the outside decking created an amazing place to congregate and enjoy the outdoors as well.”

“We went to Mt. Airy as a family weekend trip. I had never been before, but other family members had. The host had a binder of all of the things to do and visit, and they were spot on with all of it-excellent recommendations. The house was perfect for us- I totally missed that one room had a full sized bed instead of a queen sized bed, and I also missed that the bonus room had an air mattress (I thought one of the couches was a pull out sofa bed). I honestly doubt many have to use the air...
