Close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. One bedroom, King bed, full kitchen, living room, fully furnished vacation getaway. Whatever you can you imagine you may need to settle in, this place has it! Beautiful country setting with pond on acreage. Come stay and enjoy being close to kayaking, hiking, driving the parkway, wineries, etc. Non-Smoking and well behaved and house trained pets welcome. Country setting close to Galax

The country setting was very enjoyable but yet still close to Galax and the Blue Ridge Music Center. Property was very clean and the owner thought of everything we needed. We will stay here again!

Perfect Birthday Weekend

We have stayed with Kathy several times and her homes never disappoint. They are clean and welcoming in a beautiful rural setting. The fact that they are the closest rentals to our son and DIL is the icing on the cake. Kathy is excellent at communication and I know we will stay at Shepherd's Rest again.

Just beautiful

My wife and I travel from Florida to NY several times a year . And we just love this place . It’s spacious.very clean and the bed is soooo comfortable. You can hear the cows and watch the ducks in the pond This is our regular stop when it’s available. Thank you for another wonderfull stay.
