Thecroom and the resort is gorgeous but I think overpriced. I paid a lot of money for this resort and expected absolute excellence. The food was very hit and miss however the breakfast was good. First night I ordered barramundi with garlic mash potato, beans and pea ragou. I received fish and plain mash smothered in a thick mushroom sauce. I can’t eat mushrooms so they just scraped it off... We ordered a margarita pizza (tomato sauce, cheese and basil) and received a curried chicken, corn and some other vegetable. It was all tasty but not what we ordered. The Hawaiin prawns however were delicious. The staff were terrific and very helpful. All in all it was great, but a different venue but I feel overpriced.

The staff was amazing and made us feel so welcome during our two nights at Kay Jay wild. There is an entrance to wilpattu national park only 5 minutes drive away. The area where Kay jay wild is is just so beautiful
