"This property is truth in advertising. It is spacious, comfortable, clean; the staff is out of this world courteous from the top to bottom. I'm talking desk service, waitstaff and cooks and bartenders.... Only the slightest ding: front desk did not have mouthwash. Of course, I could go down the street two blocks and get some. I've always loved Embassy Suites properties, and this one is no exception. Also, affordable for the budget conscious. And who isn't?"

"Maria was the most Amazing Host ever. She helped me out in every way possible for my one night stay. The house was very clean and all the beds are so comfy. Stain on couch but no big deal at all. I was just extremely comfortable and it felt like home. I wish we had more time in the house. Although it was 10 of us we made the one bathroom situation easy. The house literally had everything you could possibly think of. My only recommendation is to get a portable AC unit for the garage where the pool table is. I would book this house a million times over. Maria I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything!! You are such a sweet, amazing host and I wish you the best. Keep in touch. "

"This was our first time getting a house, through here if any other site that may offer it. Let me just say it was the best guest experience, that I think any time we're down in Hampton Virginia, we'll have to work our vacation around available days for the house. Had just enough space for our 7 guests, all family members. And every single one of us loves this beautiful home away from home. You will not be disappointed "

"The ONLY reason I rated this 2 star instead of 1 is because the communication with the host was superb! Lynn was a pleasure to deal with. However as far as the property goes, it was in quiet neighborhood in historical Wythe in Hampton. The unit was clearly the original dwelling which needless to say is old. Nothing had been renovated or updated. The insulation was definitely a problem which kept the unit hit as balls during the day even with the ac on. At night there was no problem. Due to the age of the unit the doors were loud opening and closing them. Lastly the cleanliness of the unit was a joke. Hair was on the floor and in bathroom tub I am assuming left by the last tenant. These reasons is why I ended up only staying a little over a week and not extending longer, I just couldnt do it."

"We arrived to NewPort news around 2:30 and checked into the home on 245 Chapel St. @ 3pm. Once I got my mother and family members settled in my husband and I went to the other home 701 Smith St. without complications. My husband and I were not impressive about the neighborhood or the distance from the home on Chapel St., which they stated that the homes were walking distance; approximately 7 minute drive across the town. The home on Smith St. was nicely clean on the inside. We slept there through the night. The next morning we took showers and made the bed up. That is when I placed the decorative pillow back on the bed from the floor; there was a live Bed Bug lying on the pillow. I took pictures and began to pick my shoes and bags off the floor. My husband and I left the home; I contacted the person who sent me the codes to get into the homes while we headed to check on the family at the other home on Chapel St. which has a “Leak” in the double bed room upstairs. We had thunder storms watch that night also so my brother’s pulled the bed from against the window so it wouldn’t rain on the children. On Saturday night we all stayed at the Chapel St. home because I refuse to sleep in a carpeted infested home that possibly could be transferred back to my own home. "

"We had a great stay (3 adults and 2 kids)! Super cute house and great location. The outdoor shower was a plus after a day at the beach. The location is to the beach and restaurants. The host was amazing and even left a snack basket which the kids loved! We would definitely stay there again!"

This home was well stocked for our kitchen needs and had containers for leftovers and even batteries if we had needed, even plastic spoons for on the go. We loved our week in this home. "

"It was good but upon arrival a dead roach was found in one of the bedrooms, a roach antenna coming from the top of the bathroom door downstairs , and the bathroom upstairs had a weird smell coming from the sink, underneath ALL the sinks were pretty dirty. There is no cleaning supplies, only a mop and a swiffer. But overall, was a good stay."

"During my search for accommodations for my group attending the Hampton Ministers’ Conference, I discovered a listing for a property situated within walking distance of the campus and Convocation Center. Upon arrival, the house met all expectations, providing ample space for our group. The rooms were both comfortable and spacious. The host demonstrated exceptional responsiveness in addressing a minor concern that arose. Members of my group thoroughly enjoyed the conference, in part due to the exceptional lodging experience. We eagerly anticipate booking the property again for next year’s conference. "

"Wonderful communication with property owner, comfortable beds and amenities like a welcome basket with snacks/bottle water/juice was an added bonus. Very clean throughout and easy to follow check-in and out instructions. Only minor complaint is that the air conditioner for the upstairs room was off upon arrival, so the room was quite hot when we arrived near 8pm at night. Would definitely stay again as we were close walk to the beach and local food spots. "

"Location - Nice spot in Hampton. The immediate streets are quite nice. Felt safe. Location adds a little time to drive to Norfolk attractions & restaurants. Amenities - had the basics! Nice quiet back yard. Cleanliness was ok, could have been a little cleaner from the dog. Great value price-wise. "

"I made two bookings, very easy but one canceled abruptly and the second turned out to be a non-available property and I did not find out until an before check-in. I was credited 100 for my trouble. I recommend that anyone that chooses this method, to reach out to the management agency or owner immediately to get the actual status of the property."
