“The property has been maintained as a castle based hotel since the 1970’s. The castle interior furnishings and appointments are unique. You have to see it to believe it. It was amazing. The original owner who took over the property from the county spent a tremendous amount of time bringing nautical themed interior furnishings. “The staff were super nice and helpful. We were a little disappointed in the state of the hotel as it looks a little run down. The pictures make it look nicer than it is. Our bathroom had a broken tile, and the shower layout was tight for one person and got water all over the floor.
We paid for a seaweed bath which wasn’t bad. I wouldn’t say it was worth the money. We were able to use the hot tub and sauna for free because we purchased one of the bath treatments but they charge $30 for anyone……
