“The room was an unexpected surprise. Not a 5 star resort by any means but definitely a 5 star stay. Very close to everything, right in Down town. Super quiet, clean and comfortable. Would stay here again for sure. Really enjoyed the quiet luxury of this place. ”

“We enjoyed the deck at El Refugio. The beds were also comfortable. Nice location and view of Ensenada. 4 stars on cleanliness because there were a few really dirty spots (top of glass over stove and top of fridge) where a simple damp sponge would have done wonders. Hot water appliance also failed and was tricky to get hot water. But we were able to contact on-site person and owner and everything resolved to our satisfaction (I was able to take a hot shower).
