“We had a lovely 9 night stay in August. The Gite is well equipped with all you could need, it's comfortable and clean. We arrived during a heatwave, so it was very hot indeed, but the fans were a welcome relief in the bedrooms. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with tips in the area, it was my husband's birthday whilst there and a special little treat from them along with local fruit & veg from their garden. “The most wonderful hosts and idyllic location. Beautiful huge garden, always plenty going on in what seemed like a very small town. Stephen and Michaela were so warm and welcoming and were very knowledgeable on the local area with some fabulous recommendations for food and things to do nearby. Great facilities and very clean house, even had an air fryer which is a proper luxury in France! There is so much in and around Confolens if you’re willing to look for it! Would stay again in a heart beat.”
