“It’s an older house, so you are dealing with creaky floors and such, which is ok. The floors were really dirty/sticky so we had to clean. There were also virtually no pots/pans that weren’t old/rusted/flaking. The owner was apologetic, reimbursed us for our time cleaning and pots/pans we had to buy. It needs a better selection of cooking things, so hopefully that gets adddress so families can stay there. ”

There is no HVAC upstairs so space heaters were fussy to maintain and keep on with timers, etc. There is only two lamps in the home, so all rooms rely on ceiling fan lights - which are effective but do not allow a more relaxed evening or early morning atmosphere. The rooms, kitchen and bathroom were clean and spacious. The host responded timely and answered all of our questions.
