As soon as we walked into the room we were staying in we smelled a “moldy/mildew” smell. We ignored it for a second and tried to get settled into the room. I took my shoes off and stepped on the carpet and immediately my feet felt damp. I reached down and felt the carpet and it felt a bit damp and my socks were too. The entire room (carpet) was this way. Then I touched the fence to put our waters in there and it was grimy. The surface. I literally had a gritty oily substance on my hands. We started to get very uneasy to continue unpacking. There was also banging on the walls coming from next door apparently for “remodeling” which was extremely awful to try and relax and unpack to if we were going to stay. We looked around and found a ton of mold on the AC. The popcorn ceiling was literally coming off. There were stains on the walls and curtains and sheets. It was the most disgusting hotel I have ever been too. We packed our stuff. Talked to the front desk who directed us to contact Expedia for a refund and we booked a different hotel. We left asap. Now we are being refused a refund for not wanting to sleep in a mold infested disgusting hotel room. I am absolutely appalled at the behavior of this hotel and property manager for denying us a refund. I truly do not understand how they are open and running a business. I am extremely upset and disappointed and will be posting this on all socials I have and telling everyone I know to never support a Baymont hotel ever again.

Quiet for the most part and nice staff. Room had a moldy/ stale smell which was weird but was overall was clean. They have renovations currently be completed so I'm sure that minor issue will be tackled. Breakfast is pretty boring too. Cereal, bread, and fruit from their basement ( what it looked like) was underwhelming. I just ordered out.
