"We love the walk to the blacksand beach (20 mins anyway from the hotel). Everything was so pretty and peaceful! The food at the hotel restaurant was okay. We ordered the lamb, wasn’t the best we had compared with all other Icelandic restaurants."

"Cute hotel at the end of a private drive. We had room 201 and shared with friends of ours. The room was very tidy and spacious, with a lovely balcony with great views. Yes, the bathroom smelled like sulfur but it's common in Iceland with hot water. The common area was very spacious and was a great place to hang out. "Cute hotel at the end of a private drive. We had room 201 and shared with friends of ours. The room was very tidy and spacious, with a lovely balcony with great views. Yes, the bathroom smelled like sulfur but it's common in Iceland with hot water. The common area was very spacious and was a great place to hang out. We loved the breakfast served in the morning, which was just enough fuel for the start of the day. Unlimited access to coffee and cookies was also a delight throughout our stay. We enjoyed the hot tub outside, but wished it were a tad bit warmer. Overall, this was our favorite hotel that we stayed at in Iceland. It's private, quiet, has an easy check-in process, nice breakfast, and is very spacious."
