"Out stay at the garage was incredible. The rooms are adorably decorated with cute surprises throughout. It was spacious and our views were amazing and dark skies that allowed us to see the northern lights! We loved it and our host Anna even baked a cake to share with her guests! Also, no one mentioned the waterfall in the backyard!"

"South Iceland Guesthouse was about 30 minutes from Vik. There are 7 rooms and about 14 people , a very nice big kitchen and 3 bathrooms, 1 bathroom had a burned out light, but even with two, we never had to wait. Our room was really small. It had 2 twin bunk beds and it was hard for 2 people to move around at the same time. However there is a large shared sitting area. Overall, we quite liked it, except for the size of the room."

"We were extremely happy with our stay. The location was easy to find and the view from the room was phenomemal! Loved all the windows! We were able to see the northern lights one night when the clouds cleared. Staff were friendly. The room was clean and well maintained. It was very convenient to be able to pull right up to the room with our car to unload/load. We appreciated having the spacious layout for three people and happy to have a kitchen with coffee provided! The only issue was the pull out couch squeaked which woke us up multiple times, but not for long. It was nice to walk over to the Barn to grab a couple of beers at the end of the day. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. This was one of our favorite stays of our entire trip (stayed at 5 places)."
